Redmi Note 12, Note 12 Pro, and Note 12 Pro+ have been reportedly certified by the 3C regulatory body in China. The certifications show that the Note 12 family could come out in the home market as early as October.
The 3C listing of the Redmi Note 12 trio reveals that it will sport up to 210W charging. So far, the iQOO 10 Pro, which debuted with 200W charging support in August, is the world’s fastest charging smartphone. It appears that the Note 12 Pro+ will break this record when it debuts in the Chinese market.

Redmi Note 12 series bags 3C certification

Three new Xiaomi devices with model numbers 22101316C, 22101316UCP, and 22101316UC have received certification from the 3C authority. These models may be released in China as the Redmi Note 12, the Redmi Note 12 Pro, and the Redmi Note 12 Pro+.
The 3C certification reveals that all three models support 5G connectivity. The 3C listings also show suggest that the three phones will support 67W, 120W, and 210W charging.
The 3C listing of the Note 12 Pro+ revealed that it may ship with a new charger that has a model number of MDY-13-EU and supports a maximum charging speed of 20VDC / 10.5A (210W). While the Note 12 Pro+ may ship with a 210W charger, it could possibly support only 200W charging.
Redmi Note 12 series specifications (rumoured)
The Redmi Note 12 lineup is expected to feature a flat AMOLED display with a punch-hole design. The Note 12 Pro and Pro+ are likely to feature the Dimensity 1300 chipset. The entire series may come equipped with a 50-megapixel primary camera. The other details of the Note 12 lineup are expected to surface in the coming weeks.
Redmi Note 12 launch timeframe
Redmi unveiled the Redmi Note 11, Note 11 Pro, and Note 11 Pro+ by the end of October 2021 in China. Hence, it is likely that the Redmi Note 12 series may go official around the same time next month in the home market. As far as the Indian launch is concerned, it may arrive by the end of Q1 2023.
