Xiaomi is all set to unveil its Redmi Note 12 lineup. It will consist of three smartphones, Redmi Note 12, 12 Pro, and 12 Pro+, and is tipped to arrive on January 5, 2023. However, according to the latest reports, the company plans to introduce a 4G variant of its Redmi Note 12 Pro.
Along with the Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G, the Redmi Note 11 Pro 2023 was recently seen on multiple certification websites, and now, a new leak claims that these could be the names of the same device for different markets.
Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G (aka Note 11 Pro 2023) on NBTC and TDRA certification websites
Recently the Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G was spotted on the NBTC certification website with the model number 2209116AG. Interestingly a few days ago, a smartphone with the same model number but a different moniker (aka Note 11 Pro 2023) was spotted on the TDRA certification website.
Although this is not a surprise, as the Chinese smartphone maker has previously renamed its products for different markets, this indicates that Redmi will most likely launch the Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G in global markets. At the same time, some countries might receive the same device with the Redmi Note 11 Pro 2023 branding.
Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G expected specifications
The Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G is expected to flaunt an AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Beneath the display, the smartphone will likely draw power from the Snapdragon 732G chipset paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It is said to run on Android 13-based MIUI out of the box.
In terms of camera, the Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G is expected to house a 50MP triple rear camera setup. Besides, the device is likely to pack a 5,020mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
