Redmi Note 12 series is said to be in the works. Like before, Redmi is likely to announce the Note 12 in China before releasing it in India and other markets. Redmi is likely to announce the Note 12 lineup as early as next month (October).

While there is no official word on the Note 12 series, it is likely to include several models, such as the Redmi Note 12 Note 12 Pro, and Note 12 Pro+. Digital Chat Station, a well-known Chinese tipster, has shared key details on the design and key specifications of the Note 12 series ahead of the expected launch.

According to the tipster, the Redmi Note 12 series display will have a centrally positioned punch-hole. It will be a flat panel that supports a Full HD+ resolution. However, it is unclear whether it will feature an LCD or AMOLED screen.

The rear camera setup of the Note 12 series will comprise a 50-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel depth / macro camera. It is also expected to carry support for 120W fast charging. To recall, the Note 11 Pro+ and Note 11T Pro+ smartphones that are available in China carry support for 120W fast charging.

Hence, the Note 12 lineup is likely to offer the same charging capabilities. It is speculated that to feature a Dimensity chip and its battery size will not be lower than 4,500mAh. Even though it will be an affordably priced device, it is expected to pack some features that are seen on flagship phones.
