Redmi Note 12 Turbo launch date has been confirmed. After several weeks of leaks, the company has revealed that the smartphone will be announced at 7 pm (local time) on March 28th, 2023, in China. Redmi is already offering the Redmi Note 12 5G, Note 12 Pro 5G, Note 12 Pro+ 5G, and Note 12 Pro Speed Edition in China. The upcoming Turbo model will be the most powerful model in the series since it will come equipped with an all-new Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset.

Rumours are rife that the POCO is working on the POCO F5 5G for the global market, including India. Rumours have claimed that the POCO F5 will be a rebadged version of the Note 12 Turbo. Here is a look at everything that is known so far about the Redmi model.

The above-shown poster showcases the Redmi Note 12 Turbo’s appearance from the back. The device can be seen sporting a 64-megapixel triple camera system with an LED flash. The main snapper could be accompanied by an ultra-wide lens and a macro camera. The device can be seen sporting a flat frame with a volume controller and a power key on the right.

The Redmi Note 12 Turbo’s top edge seems to be equipped with a 3.5mm headphone jack, a speaker, a microphone, and an IR blaster. On the bottom edge, one can see a SIM slot, a microphone, a USB Type-C port, and another speaker for stereo output.

Redmi has confirmed that the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset and LPDDR5 RAM will power the Redmi Note 12 Turbo. The device will offer UFS 3.1 storage. Speculation is rife that the device will offer up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage.

The Turbo model will arrive with a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen that offers a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It may house a 5,500mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging.

The device will feature a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. It is likely to feature a 64-megapixel (main) + 8-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 2-megapixel (macro) triple camera unit. It will run on the Android 13 OS, which will be customized with MIUI 14.
