Xiaomi had launched the Redmi 8 series back in October in India. The lineup consisted of the Redmi 8 (review), Redmi Note 8 (review), and Redmi Note 8 Pro (first impressions). The first two are budget offerings while the Note 8 Pro is a mid-range device. The smartphones were available for purchase via flash sales. Now three months after launch, Xiaomi has announced on Twitter that all three smartphones will be available on open sale. This means that buyers won’t have to wait for the company’s flash sales in case the devices run out of stock quickly. The Redmi Note 8 and Note 8 Pro are available on open sale on Amazon, while the Redmi 8 can be purchased from Flipkart. The smartphones can also be purchased from Mi.com and retail outlets.
