Xiaomi has announced a new hard case for its Redmi Note 8 Pro. The hard case comes in a matte finish and is available on Xiaomi’s official website. It has been touted to provide full protection and superior grip as it is lightweight and shock absorbent. The cover is also capable of resisting scratches and is made from a polycarbonate material. It has been launched in a black shade and costs Rs 499. Earlier this month, Xiaomi had launched a protective tempered glass screen guard for Redmi Note 8 Pro for Rs 399.

Redmi Note 8 Pro specifications and features
The Redmi Note 8 Pro features a 6.53-inch full HD+ display with Gorilla Glass 5 protection. In terms of performance, the phone relies on the MediaTek Helio G90T octa-core processor with 6GB/8GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage. The device further sports a quad-camera setup which is placed in a vertical fashion in the middle of its rear panel. It hosts a 64MP Samsung BRIGHT GW1 ISOCELL primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 2MP macro lens and a 2MP depth shooter. A 20MP selfie snapper is placed inside the waterdrop notch of the phone’s display.
Furthermore, Redmi Note 8 Pro boasts a 4,500mAh battery unit with support for 18W fast charging and USB Type-C. Connectivity options include G LTE, dual-SIM slots, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C port, and A-GPS.

The phone is available in four shades – Gamma Green, Shadow Black, Halo White and a newly launched Electric Blue. It is priced at Rs 14,999 for 6GB RAM + 64GB storage variant, Rs 15,999 for 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant and Rs 17,999 for the biggest 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant.
