Xiaomi is all set to launch its upcoming Redmi Note series devices in India, namely the Redmi Note 9 and Redmi Note 9 Pro. Ahead of the official launch on March 12th, these smartphones have been subjected to several leaks and rumours, revealing most details, including information on the variants and colours of the Pro variant. The Redmi Note 9 Pro has now been spotted on the database of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the US. The listing has confirmed few details of the upcoming smartphone.

The FCC listing of the Redmi Note 9 Pro has revealed the model number to be M2003J6A1G. This model number has been confirmed to be associated with Redmi Note 9 Pro in the past leaks. Two more model numbers – M2003J6B2G  and M2003J6A2G have been revealed to be the Redmi 9 and Redmi Note 9 in the past. According to the FCC listing, the Redmi Note 9 Pro will feature dual-band Wi-Fi and boot MIUI 11 based on Android 10 out of the box. However, we already know that the Redmi Note 9 Pro might come with a punch-hole display and quad-camera module. The smartphone will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm processor clocked at 1.8GHz, which is speculated to be the Snapdragon 720G. The processor will be backed by up to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The leaked renders have also suggested that the smartphone will have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. We also know that the phone will be offered in Aurora Blue, Glacier White, and Interstellar Black paint jobs. Apart from this, a curved Gorilla Glass back, immersive gaming experience and fast charging have been confirmed by the landing page of the smartphone on Amazon India.
