The Redmi Note 9 Pro is expected to feature a 6.67-inch LCD display that will offer full HD+ resolution, as per the leaks. It will bear a tall aspect ratio of 20:9 and a refresh rate of 60Hz. The screen would be shielded by Gorilla Glass 5. The punch-hole present on the display will be home to a 16-megapixel selfie shooter.

The Note 9 Pro will be equipped with a quad camera setup on its rear. The official teasers have revealed that the phone has a square-shaped camera module on its back. It will likely include a 48-megapixel primary lens, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, a 5-megapixel macro lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The primary sensor of the phone is said to be the newer Samsung GM2 sensor.  The Note 9 Pro will carry support for 960fps slow-motion video shooting.

It will be the company’s first smartphone to be powered by the all new Snapdragon 720G. The same SoC drives the recently-announced Realme 6 Pro. The device includes a 5,020mAh battery that will be coupled with an 18W charger. The handset will carry support for dual SIM cards and will have a dedicated slot for adding a microSD card. It will be sporting a side-mounted fingerprint reader.

The Redmi Note 9 Pro is expected to arrive in India in two models, one with 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage and another with 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage. The handset will be available in three colours, including Aurora Blue, Glacier White and Interstellar Black. The pricing of the Redmi Note 9 Pro is currently under wraps. Since the phone is yet to go official, readers are advised to take these specs with a grain of salt.
