Redmi’s new Smart TV Series is set to launch on at 12pm on September 22nd in India in 32-inch and 43-inch variants . Ahead of the launch, a landing page for the upcoming Redmi Smart TVs has gone live on Xiaomi India’s website and Amazon India. These listings have revealed some of its key features.

In March, Redmi entered the smart TV market in India by announcing the Smart TV X series in 50-inch, 55-inch, and 65-inch sizes. The new Redmi Smart TV Series seems to be a separate lineup.

New Redmi TVs will launch on September 22nd in India

The poster above reveals that the upcoming Redmi TV will be equipped with slim bezels. The displays will feature a Vivid Picture Engine for brighter and clearer images, as per the brand. While there is no confirmation yet, these models may feature Full HD resolution.

The new Redmi Smart TV series comes with 20W speakers with support for Dolby Audio. In addition, it will also feature DTS Virtual: X for a surround sound listening experience.

The Redmi Smart TV series will run Android TV 11 and the latest Patch Wall 4 UI. The latter brings support for IMDB ratings. For connectivity, the upcoming Redmi Smart TV series will come with support for dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 with auto low-latency mode.

With around a week remaining for the launch, Redmi is expected to reveal more information on the upcoming 32-inch and 43-inch smart TVs in the next few days. The existing 50-inch, 55-inch, and 65-inch editions of the Redmi Smart TV X are priced at Rs 32,999, Rs 38,999, and Rs 57,999, respectively. Hence, it appears the Redmi Smart TVs could be priced below Rs 25,000.
