Redmi Watch 2 Lite India launch date has been confirmed. The new smartwatch will debut alongside the Redmi Note 11 Pro and the Note 11 Pro+ 5G at 12 pm on March 9th, 2022. It appears to be the same device that was announced in December 2021 for the global markets.

The Redmi Watch 2 Lite is a toned-down version of the Redmi Watch 2, which hasn’t yet debuted in India yet. The first teaser of the Watch 2 Lite (shown below) released by Redmi shows that it will be equipped with a square-shaped display, health tracking features, and GPS support.

The Redmi Watch 2 Lite has a 1.55-inch TFT touchscreen display that offers 320 x 360 pixels resolution. It comes with support for 100+ watch faces.
The smartwatch has more than 100 workout modes such as outdoor running, trail run, treadmill, walking, outdoor / indoor cycling, hiking, elliptical, rower, jump rope, HIIT, yoga, and pool swimming, among others. It is packed with health sensors for SpO2 blood oxygen measurement and 24-hours heart-rate tracking. It also offers other health and fitness features such as stress monitoring, breath exercising for relieving stress, and menstrual cycle tracking.
The Watch 2 Lite is equipped with a high-precision GPS chip that supports global position systems such as GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and BDS. It is packed with a 262mAh battery that promises up to 10 days of typical usage time on a single charge. The Watch 2 Lite carries support for Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity and is compatible with Android 6.0 or later and iOS or higher devices. Lastly, it comes with a 5ATM rated water-resistant chassis.

There is no word on the Redmi Watch 2 Lite’s price in India. In Europe, the device is priced at €69.99 (~Rs 5,900) and it comes in three colours – Ivory, Black, and Blue. Its strap colour choices include Ivory, Black, Blue, Pink, Oliver, and Brown. Probably, it will be priced at around Rs 5,000 in India.
