Redmi Watch 2 has been launched in China today. The Xiaomi sub-brand announced the wearable device alongside the Redmi Note 11 series.
The Redmi Watch 2 arrives as the successor to last year’s first-generation Redmi Watch. The latest offering comes with the same design but upgraded health-centric features over its predecessors. Read on to know what the wearable device offers out of the box.
Redmi Watch 2 specifications and features
The Redmi Watch 2 retains the square-shaped dial with a physical button on the right side from its predecessor. However, the latest offering features a larger 1.6-inch AMOLED display with 500 nits brightness and 100 watch faces. It is water-resistant up to 5ATM and weighs only 31 grams.
On the health front, the Redmi Watch 2 is equipped with a heart-rate and SpO2 sensor, air pressure detection, sleep tracker, and guided breathing sessions. The device is capable of tracking 117 indoor and outdoor sports modes. It also packs built-in GPS and dual-satellite positioning. The smartwatch is claimed to deliver 12 days of battery life on a single charge. It comes with Bluetooth and NFC connectivity options
Redmi Watch 2 pricing and availability
The Redmi Watch 2 is priced at RMB 399 (~Rs 4,670) and is offered in six strap colours. It is up for pre-orders in China from today with sales commencing from November 1st. We can expect the smartwatch to arrive in India since its predecessor is already available in the country.
