RedmiBook launch in India officially teased

The RedmiBook laptop is expected to go official soon in India. The company teased its arrival at the end of the Redmi Note 10T 5G’s launch event livestream today. Redmi has rapidly expanded its product portfolio in India. Last year, it announced products like powerbanks, earbuds, and fitness trackers. This year it announced its first Redmi TV in India. Now, it is all set to launch its first RedmiBook laptop in the country.

It is unclear whether Redmi will be announcing its first laptop later this month or in August. While it has launched a couple of laptops in China in the past few months, it is not known as to which models will be arriving in India. Redmi’s first laptop is expected to go up against Realme’s upcoming notebook called the Realme Book.

Redmi has teased the launch of its first laptop in India

Back in February, Redmi announced the RedmiBook Pro 14 and RedmiBook Pro 15 in China. The 14-inch model came with a 2.5K display that offered a 60Hz refresh rate and a 56Wh battery that supports 65W charging. On the other hand, the 15-inch model’s display came with support for a 3.2K resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. It supports 100W charging for its 70Wh battery.

Both models are available with 11th generation Core i5 and Core i7 CPU variants in China. These models are available with Intel Xe or Nvidia MX450 graphics, 16GB of DDR4 RAM, and 512GB of PCIe SSD storage. These notebooks offer other features like Windows 10 Home, backlit keyboard, HD webcam, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, a USB Type-C Thunderbolt 4, a USB Type-C port, a USB Type-A 3.2 Gen. 1 port, a USB Type-A port, an HDMI port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
