Reliance Jio recently introduced its Postpaid Plus plans in India starting at Rs 399. These packs offer several benefits including free international roaming in the US and UAE, cheap international calling and in-flight mobile services. Now, the Mukesh Ambani-led telco has announced three new plans that offer international roaming and in-flight services.
The telecom has partnered with 22 international airlines to offer in-flight data and SMS. The company will also provide voice call services in select airlines. These plans are not just limited to postpaid users but are also available to Jio prepaid users. Let’s have a look these new plans in detail.
Reliance Jio in-flight connectivity packs launched
Reliance has announced three new plans with priced at Rs 499, Rs 699 and Rs 999. The Rs 399 Jio Inflight International Roaming plan offers 100 minutes of outgoing calls, 250MB mobile data and 100SMSes. The plan comes with a validity of one day and is ideal for those travelling on a longer duration flight.
The Rs 699 plan offers the same call and SMS benefits, but double the amount of data at 500MB. The top tier Rs 999 plan also has the same voice and SMS benefits along with 1GB of data. Both these plans are also valid for just one day. None of the three plans offers incoming voice calls.
