Reliance Jio recently started offering free Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscriptions to its prepaid users. The subscription is being offered with two prepaid packs and several data add-on packs. Now, the telco is rolling out a new voucher with a free one year Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription, but only for its existing annual plan subscribers.
The new pack enables existing annual plan subscribers to get a free one-year VIP subscription to Disney+ Hotstar. Here are all the details.

As mentioned earlier, the Rs 222 pack is only for users who are already subscribed to a Jio annual plan. Since these users have already recharged for the full year, they cannot opt for the most affordable Rs 401 Disney + Hotstar VIP plan. As a result, Jio has introduced a Rs 222 voucher which will enable these users to get a free Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription on their old plan.
The Rs 222 pack is not reflecting on Jio’s official website, and only shows up for eligible subscribers on the My Jio app. A few users on the DesiDime forum have already reported seeing the pack in their My Jio app.
Coming to the benefits, apart from the one year VIP subscription to Disney+ Hotstar, the Rs 222 pack also offers 15GB of data. The plan validity is the same as the user’s base plan, which means the data benefits will last as long as the user’s active base plan is valid. Apart from this, no other benefits including talktime or SMS are being provided.
Jio prepaid plans with free Disney+ Hotstar subscription
Jio is offering monthly and annual prepaid Disney+ Hotstar plans worth Rs 401 and Rs 2,599 respectively. The former provides 90GB data, unlimited voice calling benefits and complimentary access to Jio apps valid for 28 days. The annual plan on the other hand, offers 740GB data, 365 days access to Jio apps and unlimited calls.
Additionally, data add-on packs in denominations of Rs 1,004, Rs 1,206, Rs 1,208 and Rs 612 are also offering a VIP subscription to Disney+ Hotstar. The Rs 612 pack shares the validity of the user’s base plan and provides 72GB data as well as 6,000 minutes Jio to non-Jio calling minutes. The Rs 1,206 and Rs 1,208 plans offer 240GB data each for 240 days and 180 days, respectively. The Rs 1,004 pack on the other hand offers users 200GB data for 120 days.
