Dual camera setup is now getting more and more common with every upcoming flagship device. Well, Huawei also gets its due credit in starting this trend with its flagship device P9. Since then, the company has launched numerous phones featuring dual rear camera setup with its sub-brand Honor. Now, the company is gearing up to launch yet another smartphone featuring this technology dubbed as Honor 8 Pro. First unveiled in China as Honor V9, the phone was recently launched in Russia.
Honor 8 Pro comes with a 5.7-inch Quad HD LTPS LCD display with a screen resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and a pixel density of 515 PPI. Under the hood, Huawei’s another sub-brand HiSilicon Kirin 960 octa-core processor coupled with a massive 6GB of RAM runs the show. The device gets 64GB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 128GB with a MicroSD card. It runs Android 7.0 Nougat wrapped under EMUI 5.1 and packs in a 3900mAh battery. The phone also houses a fingerprint scanner located on the back panel.
It sports two 12-megapixel cameras at back and an 8-megapixel front facing camera. Talking about dual camera setup, it features a standard RGB lens and a monochrome lens. Talking about pricing, we’re speculating the phone to be priced around 35-40k to compete against the likes of much-awaited OnePlus 5.
