The first look poster of Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani was released recently by the makers, and it was announced that the film would release in theatres on July 28, 2023. Furthermore, reports in the media also state that the digital rights for the film have been bagged by an OTT giant.
Post the theatrical run, fans will be able to watch Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani on Amazon Prime Video. Details regarding the OTT release of the film and more have not been announced yet.
Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani: Cast and Crew
Co-written by Isha Moitra, Shashank Khaitan and Sumit Roy, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani is directed by Karan Johar and produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Viacom 18. The film stars Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Shabana Azmi, Jaya Bachchan and Dharmendra in pivotal roles.
The cinematography of the film has been done by Manush Nandan, whereas ace composer Pritam has given the music of the film. Distribution of Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani has been managed by Viacom 18.

Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani: Poster Launch and Premise
Dharma Productions, on February 2, 2023, took to Twitter to share the poster, with a message that read, “Rocky aur Rani ke parivaar ho rahe hai taiyyaar, aur dekhiye yeh anokhi kahani of pyaar! Bringing back the magic, the love & larger-than-life entertainment – #RockyAurRaniKiPremKahani in cinemas, 28th July 2023.”

The makers have not revealed anything about the film yet; however, a media report published in Pinkvilla mentioned that Alia would be seen as a middle-class girl, and Ranveer would play a boy from a rich family.
Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani: Pre-release Buzz
Filmmaker Karan Johar will be seen in the director’s seat after a gap of seven years. On the other hand, Ranveer and Alia will be seen again in the film, after their blockbuster Gully Boy, which was loved by the audience.
The filming of Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani began in August 2021, and parts of the film were shot in Mumbai, Moscow, and Delhi. Several delays were faced by the film due to the coronavirus pandemic, due to which the shoot was postponed, eventually pushing the release date. As per reports, the film was expected to release in February 2023; however, due to Alia Bhatt’s pregnancy, the release was further pushed to July.
