Recent reports have claimed that Samsung is working on three new flagship smartphones such as the Galaxy F21 FE, Galaxy Z Fold 3 and the Galaxy Z Flip 3. According to a new report on South Korean publication Yonhap News, the company is in discussions with local carriers to announce these devices by late August in the home market.
Samsung is yet to confirm the arrival of these smartphones. However, the rumour mill has already leaked that S21 FE will an affordable version of the Galaxy S21 flagship, the Z Fold 3 will come with several new features, and the Z Flip 3 will come with a revamped design.
Galaxy S21 FE, Galaxy Z Fold 3, and Galaxy Z Flip 3 may launch in August
For the past couple of years, Samsung has been launching new Note series flagship phones in August. Earlier this year, the company hinted that it would be skipping the Galaxy Note series this year. Hence, it appears that it could be launching three different flagships, the Galaxy S21 FE, Z Fold 3, and Z Flip 3 instead of the Note series by late August.
If the new information is true, the new phones may launch sooner than their predecessors. Last year, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 and Galaxy Z Flip 5G were announced in September, whereas the Galaxy S20 FE went official in October.
A recent report claimed that the production of the Galaxy S21 FE will begin in July. It is expected to arrive with a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with support for a 120Hz refresh rate, a 32-megapixel front camera, a 4,500mah battery, and it may sell in multiple colors like light green, light violet, gray, and white. It may cost around KRW 700,000 (~$625) in South Korea.
The Galaxy Z Fold 3 could be Samsung’s first foldable phone to arrive with S Pen stylus support. It could also be its first phone to feature an under-display fingerprint sensor. Leaks surrounding the Galaxy Z Flip 3 have revealed that it will be sporting a dual-tone finish, a reveamped camera design, and a larger secondary display.
