Samsung welcomes a new member to the Galaxy A series smartphones, the Samsung Galaxy A04s. It is a sequel to the A03s, launched in August last year and a successor to the recently introduced Galaxy A04. The new model arrived in Northern Europe without a launch party.
Despite being a budget smartphone, the all-new Samsung device comes powered by its own Exynos chipset, a higher refresh rate and a triple camera setup at the back. So let’s check out the Samsung Galaxy A04s in detail.
Samsung Galaxy A04s specifications
The Samsung Galaxy A04s flaunts a 6.5-inch HD+ display and offers a resolution of 720×1560 pixels. It is equipped with an Infinity-V display that houses a 5MP selfie camera and a refresh rate of 90Hz. The phone is powered by Samsung’s homegrown Exynos 850 chipset paired with 3 and 4GB of RAM and 32, 64 or 128GB of built-in storage. Along with that, the smartphone offers a microSD card slot which provides storage expansion to 1TB.
There is a triple camera array on the rear, with only one prominent module – the 50MP primary camera. It can capture 1080p video at 30fps, just like the A04. It also possesses a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP depth sensor.
A 5,000mAh battery backs the Galaxy A04s, and it runs on Android 12-based One UI Core 4.1 out of the box. In terms of connectivity, the smartphone features Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth version 5.0, a USB Type-C port, GPS, a 3.5mm audio jack, NFC, and more. Besides, the smartphone offers a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and Samsung Knox for security purposes.
