Considering the increasing competition and crowded budget segment in the smartphone market, Samsung has now slashed the prices of three devices in its A-series lineup. The Galaxy A30, A20, and A10 are now more affordable than before. Samsung says that the A-series has been extremely successful in India, selling more than 2 million devices. The Galaxy A10 and A30 were launched in March, while the A20 debuted in April.
The Galaxy A10 was launched at Rs 8,490 and will now cost Rs 7,990 after a price cut of Rs 500. It comes with a 6.2-inch HD+ Infinity V display and 13MP rear camera. The device is backed by a 3,400mAh battery unit.
The Galaxy A20 and A30 get a flat discount of Rs 1,000 and Rs 1,500. The former now retails at Rs 11,490 instead of Rs 12,490. The price of A30 has been brought down to Rs 15,490 from Rs 16,990. In terms of specifications, both the devices sport a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display bearing FHD+ resolution. The A20 and A30 feature a dual camera setup of 13MP + 5MP and 16MP + 5MP respectively. Both the smartphones are powered by a 4,000mAh battery with 15W fast charging support.
The new prices of the Galaxy A10, A20 and A30 are now in effect, and listed on the company’s online store, Amazon India, Tata Cliq, Croma, Paytm Mall, and other brick and mortar stores across the country.
The price cut does not include the Galaxy A50 and A70. With the current price cut, Samsung aims to take on the likes of Xiaomi, Realme, HONOR in India.
