Samsung Galaxy A10s with fingerprint sensor and dual rear cameras announced

Samsung has quietly announced a new A-series smartphone. The Galaxy A10s is an upgraded variant of the Galaxy A10 which was launched back in February this year. Let’s take a look at the device below:

Technical Specifications:

The Galaxy A10s sports the same 6.2-inch Infinity V display bearing HD+ resolution as seen on the A10. The device features a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner that was missing on its predecessor. The Galaxy A10s can be availed in four colour variants – Blue, Green, Red and Black.

On the imaging front, the Galaxy A10s is equipped with a dual-rear camera setup instead of the single sensor on the A10. The module comprises of a 13MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor. In the front, the A10s gets an upgraded 8MP shooter for selfies. The front camera also offers a face recognition feature for unlocking the device. 

As for the internals, the Galaxy A10s is powered by the same octa-core Samsung Exynos 7884 processor as its predecessor. It is paired with 2GB RAM and offers 32GB onboard storage expandable up to 512GB via dedicated microSD card slot. The Galaxy A10s is backed by a significantly bumped 4,000mAh battery unit, and runs One UI based on Android 9 Pie out of the box. 

Pricing & Availability:

Samsung hasn’t revealed the pricing and availability of Galaxy A10s yet. According to recent reports, the smartphone is expected to be priced Rs 7,990 which is the same as its predecessor. We will update this post once we get the details.
