Last month, Samsung had launched the Galaxy A10, Galaxy A30 and Galaxy A50 in India. Today, the South Koran tech giant has introduced another Galaxy A-series phone – the Galaxy A20. The phone features a tall aspect ratio screen, dual camera setup and big battery. It is the same phone that was announced in Russia last month.
Samsung Galaxy A20 Specifications and Features
As the name suggests, the Galaxy A20 is slotted between the Galaxy A10 and A30 in terms of specifications. It possesses a 6.2-inch S-AMOLED display with Infinity-V notch design. The smartphone carries a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and it offers HD+ resolution of 720 x 1,560 pixels. The One UI based Android 9 Pie comes preinstalled on the device.
An Exynos 7884 octa-core processor and 3GB of RAM powers the smartphone. The handset includes a 4,000mAh battery that is equipped with support for 15W fast charging through USB Type-C.
The native storage of the Galaxy A20 is 32GB and it comes with a dedicated microSD card slot. The LED flash powered dual camera setup with a 13-megapixel ultra wide-angle lens and a 5-megapixel depth sensor is available on the rear of the phone. Placed on the front of the phone is an 8-megapixel camera for shooting selfies. The polycarbonate rear with a glossy finish is also fitted with a fingerprint scanner.
Samsung Galaxy A20 Price and Release Date
The Galaxy A20 has arrived in India with a price tag of Rs 12,490. The sales of the phone will start from April 10th through Samsung e-Store, Samsung Opera House and leading online retails and offline channels. The Galaxy A20 will be selling alongside other A10, A30 and A50 phones that are priced at Rs 8,490, Rs 16,990 and Rs 19,990 respectively.
