Samsung Galaxy A20s with triple cameras and Snapdragon 450 SoC launched in India, prices start at Rs 11,999

Last month, Samsung had officially announced the Galaxy A20s globally but kept the pricing of the phone under wraps. The A20s is an upgraded variant of the Galaxy A20 which was launched back in April this year. Now, the South Korean brand has revealed the pricing and availability of the latest Galaxy A20s in India.

Pricing & Availability:

The base variant of Galaxy A20s i.e. 3GB+32GB is priced at Rs 11,999 while the 4GB+64GB model carries a price tag of Rs 13,999. The smartphone is already available for purchase on Samsung e-store, Samsung Opera House, and leading e-commerce portals as well as offline retailers across the country.

Technical Specifications:

The Galaxy A20s features a slightly bigger screen measuring 6.5-inches and offers an HD+ resolution. Like its predecessor, this one too comes with an Infinity-V notch design. The device flaunts a mirror-like finish and can be availed in three colour options – Green, Blue, and Black. The back panel is home to a conventional fingerprint scanner and a triple camera setup. The Galaxy A20s also comes with Dolby Atmos surround sound technology.

In terms of optics, the Galaxy A20s is equipped with a triple camera setup comprising of 13MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 5MP depth camera. To recall, the A20 had a dual camera of 13MP+5MP sensors. The A20s retains its predecessor’s 8MP front shooter for selfies. The front camera also facilitates the face recognition feature. 

On the hardware front, the Galaxy A20s is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 chipset instead of Samsung’s in-house Exynos processor. The device is offered in two configurations of 3GB+32GB and 4GB+64GB. The internal storage is expandable up to 512GB via microSD card slot. The Galaxy A20s is backed by a 4,000mAh battery unit with support for 15W fast charging via USB-C port. The smartphone runs on Android 9 Pie out of the box.
