Samsung had launched the Galaxy A20s smartphone in India in October 2019 at a starting price of Rs. 11,999. It had arrived as an updated version of the Galaxy A20, which was launched in the beginning of 2019. Samsung has today announced a price cut for the base model of the Galaxy A20s smartphone. It can now be availed for Rs 10,999. To recall, the Galaxy A20s comes with a tall aspect ratio display, a gradient back, a large battery and triple rear cameras.
Samsung Galaxy A20s price in India
The Galaxy A20s is available in two options in India – 3GB RAM + 32GB storage and 4GB RAM + 64GB storage. The variants were initially launched for Rs 11,999 and Rs 13,999.
From today, the base model will be available for Rs 10,999, whereas the 4GB RAM variant will continue to sell at Rs 13,999. The handset can be bought with reduced pricing through both offline and online channels. Its colour variants are Black, Blue and Green.
Samsung Galaxy A20s specifications and features
The Galaxy A20s features a glossy polycarbonate rear and it houses a 6.5-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with an Infinity-V notch. The modest Snapdragon 450 chipset is present under the hood of the Galaxy A20s. The phone runs One UI based on Android 9 Pie.
For selfies, the Galaxy A20s features an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. The triple camera setup on the rear of the device includes a 13-megapixel main lens with f/1.8 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. The device is backed by a 4,000mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging through USB Type-C. Its other features include a rear-facing fingerprint scanner, face unlock and microSD card slot.
