Samsung Galaxy A21s images and specifications leaked; will be the first phone with Exynos 850 SoC

The Samsung Galaxy A21s has been popping on the Internet for quite some time now. The successor to the last year’s Galaxy A20s was recently spotted on the popular benchmarking website, Geekbench. More recently, the tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore shared an image of the front panel and a few key specs of the entry-level offering.

Now, in a massive leak that comes from, almost every specification of the upcoming affordable handset has been confirmed. The source has also listed official renders of all colour variants from all angles, giving us a 360-degree glimpse of the upcoming phone. So without any further ado, let’s take a look at the smartphone.

The Samsung Galaxy A21s will feature a quad rear camera setup

Samsung will be offering the smartphone in three colours – black, white and blue. The smartphone is seen sporting an Infinity-O display with a single punch-hole cutout on the top in the left corner. The rear panel houses a now-familiar L-shaped quad-camera module inside a rectangular island in the top left corner. There is also a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner towards the centre of the back panel.

We can see the power and volume buttons on the right edge of the device and the SIM tray on the left. Apart from these, nothing else is visible in the renders. According to the source, the device is polycarbonate-clad and yet tips the scale at 191gms. This could be credited to the massive battery powering the phone.

The Samsung Galaxy A21s is rumoured to come with a 6.5-inch LCD display with 1,600 x 720 pixels screen resolution. The handset is the first to feature Samsung’s octa-core Exynos 850 chipset with 3GB RAM and either 32GB or 64GB expandable storage. In the optics department, the phone will flaunt a 48-megapixel camera on the back with f/2.0 aperture, accompanied by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens.

There’s no word on the remaining two sensors at the but we can expect them to be macro and depth sensors. The punch-hole cutout will house a 13-megapixel selfie camera.

Other features revealed by the source include Android 10-based One UI, 5,000mAh battery, 4G LTE, a headphone jack, Bluetooth 5.0 and NFC.

Accroding to the source, the Samsung Galaxy A21s will be made available towards the end of this month, with base variant starting at €199 (~Rs 16,300) or €209 (~Rs 17,100)
