Samsung Galaxy A22 has appeared in leaked renders. In addition, specifications of both the 4G and 5G variants of the smartphone have been revealed. The latest information comes from 91mobiles in collaboration with reliable tipster Ishan Agarwal. As per the renders, the Galaxy A22 5G and A22 4G will feature the same design.
Both versions of the Galaxy A22 have appeared on multiple sites including Geekbench, Play Console, BIS and more. The listings hint at the smartphone’s imminent launch. It’s worth noting that Samsung is yet to announce anything about the upcoming Galaxy A22. Let’s take a look at the renders below.
Samsung Galaxy A22 5G and Galaxy A22 4G renders and specifications
Both the 5G and 4G variants of the Galaxy A22 will feature a 6.4-inch display with a waterdrop notch. The former is said to come with an LCD panel bearing an FHD+ resolution while the latter will bear an HD+ AMOLED screen. The smartphones sport the same design with a square camera module. If you look at the renders closely, the 5G variant features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner embedded in the power button. However, the same cannot be said for the 4G version since it sports an AMOLED display.
On the imaging front, the renders reveal a triple camera setup on the Galaxy A22 5G consisting of 48MP + 5MP + 2MP sensors. On the other hand, the 4G version will come with the same setup but also an additional 2MP unit. The report adds that the Galaxy A22 4G will feature a 13MP selfie snapper.
As for the core specifications, the Galaxy A22 5G is said to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor while the 4G variant will be equipped with an Helio G80 chipset. The RAM and storage configurations of both smartphones are not known yet. Both the Galaxy A22 5G and A22 4G will reportedly be backed by a 5,000mAh battery unit with support for 15W fast charging.
