Samsung Galaxy A30s and Galaxy A50s launched in India, prices start at Rs 16,999

Samsung announced the Galaxy A30s and Galaxy A50s just last month. These phones were launched as iterative upgrades to the Galaxy A30 and Galaxy A50, which went on sale in India in February. The new models flaunt triple camera modules on the back and in-display fingerprint scanners. The A30s and A50s have now been launched in India.

Samsung Galaxy A30s and Galaxy A50s: price and availability

The Samsung Galaxy A30s is the cheaper of the two and is being offered in only one configuration featuring 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. Samsung has priced the Galaxy A30s at Rs 16,999. The Galaxy A50s, on the other hand, will be available in 4GB + 128GB and 6GB + 128GB variants. The former has been priced at Rs 22,999, while the latter will set you back by Rs 24,999.

The smartphones can be picked up from Amazon, Paytm Mall, Flipkart, Samsung online store and the brand’s Opera House in Bengaluru. Samsung is offering both these phones in Prism Crush Black, Prism Crush White, Prism Crush Violet and Prism Crush Green colour options.

Samsung Galaxy A30s and Galaxy A50s specifications

The Samsung Galaxy A30s ships with a 6.4-inch Infinity-V Super AMOLED display that offers HD+ screen resolution. There is an under-display fingerprint scanner for security as well. Powering the performance of the phone is Samsung’s Exynos 7904 chipset. The phone boots Samsung’s OneUI based on Android 9 Pie and houses a beefy 4,000mAh battery with support for 15W fast charging. In the imaging department, the Galaxy A30s offers a 25-megapixel (f/1.7) primary sensor accompanied by an f/2.2 5-megapixel depth sensor and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. The front camera on this phone is a 16-megapixel unit.

Coming to the Galaxy A50s, the phone flaunts a 6.4-inch Infinity-U Super AMOLED display with full HD+ resolution and in-display fingerprint scanner. The smartphone also gets a more powerful Exynos 9610 10nm chipset with Mali-G72 GPU. For cameras, there is a 48-megapixel primary sensor with night mode, 5-megapixel depth sensor and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera on the rear. The selfie camera has also been bumped to a 32MP sensor on the Galaxy A50s. The rest of the spec sheet including software, battery and more are similar to that of the Galaxy A30s.
