Last month, Samsung slashed the price of Galaxy A30s smartphone by Rs 1,000. The device was originally priced at Rs 16,999 and after receiving the cut, its cost came down to Rs 15,999. The South Korean giant has decided to reduce the phone’s price even further and now, it will come with a price tag of Rs 14,999. Along with the Galaxy A30s, Samsung had decreased the price of Galaxy A50s in November. However, there’s no word about the latter’s second price cut as of now. The Galaxy A30s will sell for the reduced price on Amazon, Samsung’s online store, Croma and other offline stores.
Samsung Galaxy A30s specifications and features
The Galaxy A30s hosts a 6.4-inch Infinity-V Super AMOLED display with an in-display fingerprint sensor and HD+ resolution of 720 x 1,560 pixels. This phone depends on the Samsung Exynos 7904 octa-core processor with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Another variant of the phone has been introduced earlier today. It houses 4GB of RAM and 128GB of native storage. The price cut is applicable for the 64GB storage variant only. Speculations believe that Samsung might phase out this variant of the phone. If this is true then, the second price cut of the smaller variant might be a way to do that.
As for optics, the phone boasts a triple rear camera setup with a 25MP primary sensor, assisted by 8MP ultra-wide lens and 5MP depth sensor. The vertical setup is equipped with an LED flash as well. For selfies and video calling, the Galaxy A30s sports a 16MP selfie snapper. It features a 4,000mAh battery with support for 15W Fast Charging. Connectivity options include dual-SIM 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth v5.0, Wi-Fi, GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
