Samsung launched the Galaxy A51 in India in January this year, and the Galaxy A71 a month later in February. The brand confirmed that the mid-range Galaxy A31 will be the third smartphone in the lineup. Notably, Samsung has already launched the Galaxy A31 globally in March, and listed the handset on its official website without any details regarding pricing and availability.
Now, the company has launched the new mid-range handset in India. The Samsung Galaxy A31 comes with quad cameras on the rear panel and a beefy battery with fast charging as its highlights.

The Samsung Galaxy A31 ships with Infinity-U display measuring 6.4-inches. The AMOLED panel offers full HD+ screen resolution and an in-display fingerprint scanner. Ticking at the core of the smartphone is a MediaTek Helio P65 SoC. Samsung is offering the handset in a single configuration in India with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The onboard storage can be further expanded up to 512GB using a microSD card.
Coming to the optics, the Samsung Galaxy A31 comes with a quad-camera module on the rear panel. The module comprises a 48-megapixel main sensor, 8-megapixel wide-angle lens, 5-megapixel depth and 5-megapixel macro lens. The U-shaped notch on the front is home to a 20-megapixel selfie shooter. The camera app offers features like live focus, HDR, autofocus, HDR and more.
The Samsung Galaxy A31 boots One UI 2.0 based on Android 10 out of the box with Samsung Pay, Samsung Health and Samsung Knox. It is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 15W fast charging.

The Samsung Galaxy A31 is being offered in Prism Crush Black, Prism Crush Blue and Prism Crush White colour options. The smartphone will retail at Rs Rs 21,999 from Flipkart, Amazon and Samsung’s official website. The handset will also be available from leading offline retailers in the country,
