After months of leaks, the Samsung Galaxy A32 5G has finally debuted in Germany. As the rumour mill had speculated, the Galaxy A32 5G has arrived as the cheapest 5G smartphone from Samsung. The handset is positioned lower than the Snapdragon 750G powered Galaxy A42, which is selling in European markets with a price tag of €349 (~Rs 31,000).

Most mid-range smartphones that are available in the market have a rectangle or square-shaped camera housing. However, the Galaxy A32 5G sports a unique rear design as it features individually placed quad cameras and LED flash unit. Samsung claims that the support for 5G will allow the users of A32 5G to enjoy high-resolution streams, high-end online games, and more.

The Samsung Galaxy A32 5G has a 6.5-inch TFT LCD display with an Infinity-V notch. While the screen carries support for HD+ resolution, the notch features a 13-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture.

The quad-camera setup of the Galaxy A32 5G has a 48-megapixel lens with an f/1.8 aperture as the primary shooter. It is accompanied by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 5-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth helper. Surprisingly, the rear cameras do not protrude out of the device.

The Galaxy A32 5G is powered by an unknown 2.0GHz octa-core processor. Rumours have it that the phone could be fueled by the Dimensity 720 SoC. The handset is heading to European markets in RAM options such as 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB and storage variants like 64GB and 128GB. There is a dedicated microSD card slot onboard for additional storage.

The Samsung Galaxy A32 5G draws power from a 5,000mAh battery that comes with 15W fast charging support. The phone boots One UI based on Android 11. It offers other features such as dual SIM support, 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5, GPS, USB Type-C, a side-facing fingerprint sensor, surround sound audio output with Dolby Atmos technology, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Samsung Galaxy A32 5G pricing and availability

The 64GB and 128GB storage editions of the Samsung Galaxy A32 5G are priced at €279 (~Rs 24,800) and €299 (~Rs 26,600). It comes in four colours such as Awesome Black, Awesome White, Awesome Violet, and Awesome Blue. The handset will be up for purchase in Germany starting from February 12th.

It is unclear whether Samsung will release the Galaxy A32 5G in India. Recently, the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certified the 4G version of the Galaxy A32. Hence, it is likely that the South Korean brand may only Galaxy A32 4G in India.
