Samsung Galaxy A34 5G CAD renders emerge to reveal front, rear design well before launch

  • Samsung Galaxy A34 5G is in the works
  • Its CAD renders have surfaced to reveal the design
  • It is likely to feature the Exynos 1380 chipset

Samsung Galaxy A34 5G design has been revealed. Publication Giznext has teamed up with well-known tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer (aka OnLeaks) to share the CAD renders of the upcoming Galaxy A34. The Galaxy A33 5G was announced in March of this year. Hence, there is a possibility that the Galaxy A34 may go official around the same time in 2023.

Apart from the Galaxy A34, Samsung is also working on a couple of other A-series phones, such as the Galaxy A14 and the Galaxy A54. While the rumour mill has revealed some details about the A14 and A54, nothing much is known about the A34. Here is a look at the design of the A34.

The Galaxy A34 CAD renders show that it will have a teardrop notch display on the front like the Galaxy A33 5G. Since the predecessor model featured an AMOLED display, it appears that the A34 will arrive with an AMOLED screen. On the top, the device offers a SIM card tray, and its bottom edge has a microphone, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The left side of the phone appears barren, while its right has a volume controller and a power key. There is a vertical triple-camera unit with an LED flash on the back. As can be seen in the renders, the camera rings slightly protrude from the surface of the back panel.

The leak reveals that the Galaxy A34 will have 161.3 x 77.7 x 8.2mm dimensions and house a 6.5-inch display. Recently, an unannounced Exynos 1380 chip was spotted in the database of the Geekbench benchmarking platform. Since the Exynos 1280 SoC powered the A33, it is likely that the A34 may come equipped with the all-new Exynos 1380 chip. At present, there is no information on the other specifications of the device.

In related news, Samsung seems to be working on three different chipset variants of the Galaxy A14. Recent reports have claimed the Galaxy A14 4G will feature the Helio G80 chip. The Galaxy A14 5G may come in Dimensity 700 and Exynos 1330 chipset variants.

The Galaxy A54’s CAD renders that surfaced earlier this month revealed that it has a punch-hole and a rear design similar to the Galaxy A34. The A54 is expected to arrive with specs such as a 120Hz AMOLED display with an in-screen fingerprint scanner, a 50-megapixel main camera, a 5,000mAh battery with 25W charging, and IP67 rated chassis.
