Samsung seems to be planning to launch two new Galaxy A series smartphones called the Galaxy A41 and Galaxy A51’s 5G model in the near future. While the brand hasn’t yet confirmed the existence of these devices, they have recently been spotted in the database of the benchmarking app Geekbench. The Galaxy A41 has appeared on Geekbnench with the model number SM-A415F, while the purported 5G model of the Galaxy A51 has been benchmarked under the model number SM-A516N. The listings of these devices on Geekbench has revealed a few details about their specifications like RAM, software version, and processor.
Beginning with the Galaxy A41, the benchmark listing reveals that the device will be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P65 chipset, which will offer a clock speed of 1.70GHz. The device scored 1,628 points in the single-core test and 5,043 in the multi-core test. The processor is paired with 4GB RAM. The phone is benchmarked running the latest version of Android i.e. Android 10. As for the other specs, the rumour mill suggests that the Galaxy A41 will come with a 48MP primary camera on the back and a 25MP shooter on the front. The device may pack a larger 3,500mAh battery with 15W fast charging support.
Coming to the Galaxy A51 5G, the device is benchmarked by Geekbench with Samsung’s Exynos 980 5G processor, which has a clock speed of 1.79GHz. The device on Geekbench has 6GB of RAM. The device has been benchmarked with Android 10. Unfortunately, no other details about the 5G variant of the Galaxy A51 are available at the moment. As of now, there’s no word when Samsung is planning to launch the Galaxy A41 and Galaxy A51 5G smartphones.
To recap the 4G variant of the Galaxy A51, the phone was recently launched in India. The handset features a Super AMOLED Infinity-O display measuring 6.5-inches and has an in-display fingerprint sensor. The back panel houses a rectangular quad-camera module and flaunts a prism-like reflective pattern. The device is available in three colour options – Prism Crush Black, Prism Crush White, and Prism Crush Blue. At the rear, the Galaxy A51 has a 48MP main sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, a 5MP depth shooter, and a 5MP macro camera. Upfront, the device features a 32MP selfie snapper.
As for the other specs, the Galaxy A51 is equipped with a 2.3GHz Exynos 9611 processor, which is paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage, and supports microSD cards up to 512GB in size. Software-wise, the device boots Android 10, while a 4,000mAh battery with 15W fast charging support keeps the smartphone running.
The base variant of the Galaxy A51 with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage is priced at Rs 23,999, and is available across channels in the country. There’s no word regarding the pricing of the higher-end 8GB + 128GB model at the moment.
