Exclusive: Samsung Galaxy A41 renders reveal waterdrop notch display and 48MP triple cameras

Earlier this year, Samsung introduced two new Galaxy A series handsets called the Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A71. The former was launched in India towards the end of January, while the latter arrived this month. There are a few other A-series devices in the pipeline, among which is the Samsung Galaxy A41. Ahead of the official launch, Pricebaba has partnered with notable tipster @OnLeaks to obtain exclusive 5K renders and a 360-degree video of the Samsung Galaxy A41. These reveal what the smartphone will look like, and confirm a few key specifications too.

Samsung Galaxy A41 renders

One look at the Samsung Galaxy A41, and it’s clear that the upcoming smartphone might be placed in the budget segment. Unlike the Samsung Galaxy A51 and A71’s Infinity-O display with a punch-hole cutout, the Samsung Galaxy A41 is seen sporting an Infinity-U screen, i.e. a waterdrop notch. We can confirm that the smartphone will feature a flat display measuring roughly between 6-inches and 6.1-inches.

At the back, we can see Samsung’s signature rectangular camera module in the top left corner, with three lenses placed vertically and the LED flash on the right. Onleaks has confirmed that the primary camera will feature a 48MP sensor (this is also inscribed within the module), which is in line with previous leaks. The Samsung branding is in its usual location towards the bottom, but there’s no physical fingerprint scanner, suggesting the presence of an in-display fingerprint scanner or face unlock.

Coming to other elements, we can see in the renders that the power button and volume rocker are placed on the right edge. The other side has an ejectable SIM card tray, but there’s no word on whether it has a dedicated microSD card slot or is a hybrid. At the bottom, you will find a USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio jack and a loudspeaker grill. The overall dimensions of the phone are 150 x 70 x 7.9mm, with the thickness around the camera bump going up to 8.9mm.

Samsung Galaxy A41 specifications and features (rumoured)

The Samsung Galaxy A41 was recently spotted on benchmarking site Geekbench with the model number SM-A415F. The listing revealed several key details, including an octa-core MediaTek Helio P65 chipset, which will offer a clock speed of 1.70GHz. The processor was spotted paired with 4GB RAM. On the software side of things, the handset was seen sporting One UI 2.0 based on Android 10. The phone is expected to come in 64GB and 128GB storage variants.

Rumours in the past had already suggested that the smartphone will flaunt a triple camera setup with a 48MP primary sensor. However, there is no word on the other two lenses. The selfie camera is expected to be a 25MP sensor housed in the notch on the front. The Samsung Galaxy A41 might come powered by a  3,500mAh battery with 15W fast charging support.

Other details surrounding the Galaxy A41 aren’t available. But if rumours are to be believed, the launch is just around the corner, and we won’t have to wait for long to know the exact details.
