In September, Samsung had announced price cuts for Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A71 smartphones in India. The South Korean publication has now once again slashed the prices of Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A71 by Rs 2,000 in online and offline markets in India.

The Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A71 were introduced in India at the beginning of 2020. In April, Samsung had to increase the prices of both smartphones due to the hike in GST rate. Samsung is reportedly working on the phone’s successors, the Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72. The new price cuts suggest that the company could be trying to finish the existing stock of A51 and A71 to make way for the upcoming models.

The Samsung Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A71 are now cheaper in India
After a price drop of Rs 2,000, the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8G RAM + 128GB storage models of the Galaxy A51 are now available for Rs 20,999 and Rs 22,499, respectively. On the other side, the Galaxy A71 that comes with 8GB RAM + 128GB storage is now priced at Rs 27,499, after a price reduction of Rs 2,000. The revised prices are now showing on Amazon India, Flipkart, and Samsung India’s online store.

Samsung Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A71 specifications and features
The Samsung Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A71 are equipped with 6.5-inch and 6.7-inch S-AMOLED panels that offer a Full HD+ resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio. These devices come with an in-screen fingerprint scanner and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Both phones are loaded with One UI based on Android 10.
The Galaxy A51 has an Exynos 9611 SoC and a 4,000mAh battery, while the A71 has Snapdragon 730 chipset and a 4,500mAh battery. These phones carry support for 15W and 25W charging, respectively.
The Galaxy A51 and A71 are fitted with 32-megapixel front-facing cameras. The Galaxy A71’s rear-facing camera setup includes a 64-megapixel main camera, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 5-megapixel macro lens, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. The Galaxy A51 also features a quad camera setup led by a 48-megapixel lens. Its other camera sensors are identical to the A71.
