Samsung Galaxy A51 receives a limited period price cut, available for Rs 22,499

Earlier this year in January, Samsung had launched the Galaxy A51 smartphone in India. It debuted as a mid-range offering in the country at a starting price tag of Rs 23,999 for the base variant. However, due to the new GST rate, the price was increased to Rs 25,250.

Now, the South Korean brand has announced a price cut on the 6GB + 128GB model of the Galaxy A51. The smartphone will retail at Rs 22,499 for a limited time until August 15th. The new price tag is yet to reflect online channels as well as Samsung’s official site. The price of the 8GB + 128GB configuration is also down to Rs 25,999 from Rs 27,999. 

Samsung Galaxy A51 specifications and features

To recall, the Galaxy A51 features a reflective back panel with a prism-like pattern. It is offered in Prism Crush Black, Prism Crush White and Prism Crush Blue colour options. The smartphone sports an FHD+ Super AMOLED display measuring 6.5-inches. It features an in-screen fingerprint scanner and a punch-hole camera. 

The Galaxy A51 comes with a rectangular camera module on the back comprising a 48MP main sensor, 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, 5MP depth sensor and a 5MP macro unit. The device is fitted with a 32MP selfie snapper in the front. 

Internally, the Galaxy A51 is powered by an Exynos 9611 processor. It is available in 6GB and 8GB RAM options with both offering 128GB onboard storage, expandable up to 512GB via microSD card. The smartphone is backed by a 4,000mAh battery unit with support for 15W fast charging. It runs OneUI 2.0 based on Android 10.
