- Samsung is expected to add a high refresh rates to its mid-range A-series offerings
- The Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72 LTE and 4G variants could come with 90Hz and 120Hz displays respectively
- Both phones are tipped to debut next month
The Samsung Galaxy A52 5G and Galaxy A72 5G have been subject to leaked renders since last November. The smartphones are expected to debut as the successors to last year’s Galaxy A51 5G and Galaxy A71 5G.
Now a new report by Sammobile claims that the South Korean brand will reportedly introduce high refresh rate display on the Galaxy A52, Galaxy A52 5G and Galaxy A72. This will make them the first in Samsung’s mid-range portfolio just like its flagship offerings.
According to Sammobile, the Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72 will feature a 90hz refresh rate screen. This will be possible with the Snapdragon 720G processor. On the other hand, the Galaxy A52 5G will sport a 120Hz refresh rate panel. The report adds that the device will be able to support it unlike the LTE variants due to the presence of a powerful Snapdragon 750G chipset under the hood.
The report doesn’t say anything about the 5G variant of the Galaxy A72 but we can it to sport 120Hz screen and be equipped with the same SoC as the Galaxy A52 5G.
The LTE variant of the Galaxy A52 will also reportedly share the same specifications as the Galaxy A52 5G. According to retailer listing, the Galaxy A52 5G could be priced around €450 (~Rs 39,745) while the LTE model may cost €400 (~Rs 35,324)
