The prices of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72 for the Indian market have appeared. The fresh leak by MySmartPrice claims that the duo will be arriving with a starting price of Rs 26,499.
Samsung recently confirmed that it will be holding the Galaxy Awesome Unpacked event at 7:30 PM on March 17th. While it didn’t explicitly mention the Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72 monikers, the usage of ‘Awesome’ in the event title suggests that it will be announcing new A-series smartphones on the said date.
Samsung Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72 price in India (expected)
Citing information received through industry sources, the publication revealed that India will be receiving the 4G versions of the Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72. It further stated that the Samsung Galaxy A52 variants such as 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage will be priced at Rs 26,499 and Rs 27,999, respectively.
On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy A72 variants such as 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage will be priced at Rs 34,999 and Rs 37,999, respectively. Recent reports have revealed that the A52 and A72 will come in colours such as black, white, blue, and purple. It is unclear whether both smartphones will be available in all four colors in India.
Samsung Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72 specifications and features
The Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72 will be equipped with 6.5-inch and 6.7-inch S-AMOLED FHD+ displays, respectively. Both phones are expected to support a 90Hz refresh rate. The Snapdragon 720G chipset will be powering both smartphones. The Galaxy A52 will be powered by a 4,500mAh battery, whereas the A72 will get a 5,000mAh battery. Both handsets are expected to support 25W fast charging.
The centrally aligned punch-hole on the Galaxy A52 and A72 smartphones will serve as home for the 32-megapixel selfie camera. The A52’s rear camera setup has a 64-megapixel main camera with OIS support, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide snapper, a 5-megapixel macro shooter, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. On the other hand, the Galaxy A72’s quad-camera setup may include a 64-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel telephoto lens with 2x zoom, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro lens. The new A-series phones are expected to arrive with IP67 rated dustproof and water-resistant chassis.
