Samsung has quietly dropped the price of the Galaxy A70s smartphone in India. The phone has received a permanent price cut of Rs 2,000 in the country. The phone’s base variant with 6GB of RAM is now being offered for Rs 26,999, while the higher-end 8GB RAM model is now being offered for Rs 28,999, down from the earlier price tag of Rs 30,999. The Galaxy A70s can be purchased at the reduced price from both online and offline stores across the country. The handset can be bought in three colour choices – Prism Crush Red, Prism Crush Black, and Prism Crush White.

The Samsung Galaxy A70s arrived as the South Korean tech giant’s first 64MP camera smartphone. The smartphone has a 64MP Samsung ISOCELL Bright GW1 sensor at the rear, which is paired with a 5MP Live Focus snapper and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. The handset is equipped with features like Night Mode for low-light photography and Super Steady for smooth video recording. On the front, the phone has a 32MP fixed-focus camera with an aperture of f/2.0.
As for the other features, the Samsung Galaxy A70s sports a 6.7-inch full HD+ Super AMOLED display with the Infinity-U notch above it. Under the screen, the handset houses a fingerprint sensor. Powering the phone is the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor, which is paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of native storage, which can be further increased up to 512GB by inserting a microSD card.
In terms of connectivity, the Galaxy A70s offers 4G LTE, dual-SIM slots, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C port for charging, and A-GPS with GLONASS. Software-wise, the device boots Android 9 Pie with the brand’s One UI on top. A beefy 4,500mAh battery with 25W fast charging support completes the list of the specifications of the smartphone.
