Exclusive: Samsung Galaxy A71 5G design, colours, price and more revealed

Samsung is working on a couple of A-series smartphones with support for 5G networks. These smartphones are the Galaxy A51 5G and the Galaxy A71 5G, which are the 5G-enabled variants of the Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A71, both of which were launched in India earlier this year. A recent leak from the popular tipster Evan Blass revealed the design of the Galaxy A51 5G, which included a rectangular quad-camera setup on the back, and a punch-hole Infinity-O display in the front. Pricebaba has now acquired renders of the Galaxy A71 5G, along with a few key details and expected pricing, via tipster Ishan Agarwal.

Samsung Galaxy A71 5G renders and pricing

As you can see in the render above, the Samsung Galaxy A71 5G looks exactly like the Galaxy A51 5G (based on the latter’s leaked renders), with a rectangular quad-camera module, punch-hole display and dual-tone finish on the back. However, the renders also reveal all colour variants of the upcoming smartphone, including blue, black and white. The blue variant sports a light paint job, whereas the white version is similar to the Prism Crush Silver hue of the standard Galaxy A71, with a different finish. Agarwal also confirms that the Samsung Galaxy A71 5G will be launched in China soon in an 8GB + 128GB variant. The pricing is expected to be around the RMB 3,500 mark (~Rs 37,500).

Samsung Galaxy A71 5G specifications and features

The Samsung Galaxy A71 5G has previously been spotted on Geekbench, as well as China’s 3C and TENAA certification sites, which have revealed most of its specifications. The smartphone will be powered by Samsung’s in-house Exynos 980 SoC, which features an integrated 5G modem. It will sport a 4,370mAh battery under the hood with 25W fast charging. The handset will run Android 10 with Samsung’s One UI 2.0 skin on top. The camera setup will include a 64MP main sensor, which is likely to be accompanied by a 12MP wide-angle camera, 5MP macro camera and 5MP depth sensor. The front camera will be a 32MP unit. Other features include a 3.5mm headphone jack, microSD card slot, USB Type-C port, Bluetooth 5.0 and dual-band Wi-Fi.
