Ahead of the festival season in India, Samsung has permanently dropped the prices of several of its Galaxy A and Galaxy M series of smartphones in India. These include the top-end Galaxy A series smartphone – Galaxy A71 as well as the affordable Galaxy M01 Core.
Samsung is offering discounts up to Rs 1,500 on these smartphones. Let’s take a look at all the smartphones which have received the price cut and their new prices in India.
Samsung Galaxy A71, Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A31 new prices in India
The Samsung Galaxy A71 — the top of the line Galaxy A series smartphone — is now available for Rs 29,499. Notably, the smartphone was launched at Rs 29,999 but was retailing at Rs 32,999 after the GST hike in August. It received a price of Rs 2,000 earlier this month and was priced at Rs 30,999.
The Galaxy A51 was launched in two configurations – 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB priced at Rs 23,999 and Rs 25,999, respectively. Post the GST hike, the 6GB model was retailing at Rs 25,250 and 8GB variant was available for Rs 27,999. The smartphone received a price cut at the same time as the Galaxy A71, after which the prices reverted to the original launch price. Now, Samsung is offering the base variant for Rs 22,999, whereas the top-end variant is priced at Rs 24,499.
Lastly, the Galaxy A31 was launched in India at Rs 21,99, which was later reduced to Rs 20,999 by the brand earlier this year. Now, Samsung is offering another Rs 1,000 discount along with an additional Rs 1,000 cashback on purchase made using ICICI credit cards through EMI transaction only. This brings the effective price of the handset down to Rs 18,999.
Samsung Galaxy M01s and Galaxy M01 Core new prices in India
The Samsung Galaxy M01s and Galaxy M01 Core are now Rs 500 cheaper in India. The Galaxy M01s will be sold for Rs 9,499, instead of Rs 9,999. The Galaxy M01 Core can now be picked at Rs 4,999 for the 1GB + 16GB variant and Rs Rs 5,999 for the 2GB + 32GB model. These were earlier retailing at Rs 5,499 and Rs 6,499, respectively.
