On: November 22, 2019

Multiple reports in the past have suggested that Samsung is working on a couple of new Galaxy A series smartphones. These are expected to include the Samsung Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A71. We recently brought you exclusive 5K renders and a 360-degree video of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A51. Now, the Samsung Galaxy A71’s renders and 360-degree video have been leaked by CashKaro in collaboration with the popular tipster @OnLeaks. The leaked photos suggest that the Galaxy A71 will be quite similar to the Galaxy A51 when it comes to design.

Samsung Galaxy A71 will have a punch-hole display and a quad-camera setup at the rear

Samsung Galaxy A71 renders

The Samsung Galaxy A71’s leaked renders suggest that the phone will come with almost non-existent bezels on all sides of the screen. The phone will have a punch-hole positioned at top-centre on the display that will house the selfie camera. The front design of the device is quite similar to the Galaxy Note 10. As for the rear, the leaked renders indicate that the Galaxy A71 will have four cameras placed in a square module in the top-left corner.

The cameras of the Samsung Galaxy A71 will be placed in an L-shaped arrangement. Three of the lenses are arranged vertically and the fourth is placed on the right side, alongside the LED flash unit. A fingerprint sensor is not visible in these photos, so it will likely be placed under the screen of the smartphone. The volume rocker and power button of the phone are placed on the right side, while the bottom edge has a speaker grill, USB Type-C port and 3.5mm headphone socket. The source also suggests that the Galaxy A71’s dimensions will be 163.5 x 76 x 7.9mm. The device is said to measure 9.2mm (including the camera bump) around the waist.

Samsung Galaxy A71 specifications and features

The source claims that the Samsung Galaxy A71 will feature a 6.7-inch display. The earlier leaks have indicated that the phone will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 675 processor, which will be paired with 8GB of RAM and the Adreno 612 GPU. The handset is expected to have a 48MP main camera, which will be accompanied by three other sensors. There is rumoured to be a 12MP wide-angle lens, 12MP telephoto shooter and 3D ToF sensor, apart from the main camera lens. Lastly, a 4,500mAh battery is expected to keep the phone running.

As of now, there’s no word when Samsung is planning to launch the Galaxy A71 smartphone. However, since almost everything is leaked about the device, we can expect it to be released in the very near future.
