Fresh information reveals Samsung is working on its first smartphone with a penta-camera setup. South Korean publication The Elec has claimed that the Galaxy A72 will be the first smartphone to sport five cameras. So far, there have been only a few phones such as the Nokia 9 PureView and Xiaomi Mi Note 10 that have featured penta-camera modules.
The publication has revealed the configurations of all the five rear-facing cameras of the Galaxy A72. The Samsung Galaxy A71 has a 64-megapixel quad-camera system. The new report reveals that the Galaxy A72 will be equipped with an additional telephoto lens.

The same publication had revealed in July that the Galaxy A72 will be the first A-series phone in the recent times after the older Galaxy A5 2016 to arrive with support for Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS). As far the front camera is concerned, the Galaxy A72 is expected to feature a 32-megapixel selfie snapper. The other specs of the Galaxy A72 are currently under wraps.

The configurations of its ultra-wide and depth sensors are not known yet. The Galaxy A52 is expected to arrive in 4G and 5G variants.
