It’s worth noting that Samsung is yet to confirm the Galaxy A73 5G’s existence. Back in September this year, the smartphone was rumoured to feature a 108MP primary camera with OIS. Let’s take a look at the renders below.

The Samsung Galaxy A73 5G is expected to retain the same design language as its predecessor. This means that the device will come with a centre-aligned punch-hole screen measuring 6.7-inches and bearing an FHD+ resolution. The display will be equipped with an integrated fingerprint scanner and reportedly feature a 120Hz refresh rate which is an upgrade from the 90Hz on Galaxy A72. As seen in the renders, the upcoming offering also features thin bezels.

The renders reveal power and volume rocker buttons on the right side of the device while the bottom houses a USB-C port and a speaker grille. There is no 3.5mm headphone jack and the SIM card tray is also located below instead of the top on the Galaxy A72. On the back, the Galaxy A73 5G retains the rectangular protruding camera module from its predecessor.

The Galaxy A73 5G is seen in Black and White colour options. It will feature IP67 certified dust and a water-resistant rating. Apart from this, the renders don’t reveal any additional information on the smartphone.

The Samsung Galaxy A73 5G is rumoured to be powered by a Snapdragon 750G processor under the hood. It will ship with Android 12-based OneUI 4.0 out of the box. The device is expected to be backed by a 5,000mAh battery unit with support for 25W fast charging. The Galaxy A73 5G is tipped to be the first A-series smartphone to sport a 108MP camera setup with OIS.
