Samsung Galaxy A73 renders have appeared to reveal its design. The images shared by publication Zoutons in collaboration with reliable tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer (aka OnLeaks) gives a good look at the Galaxy A73, which will succeed this year’s Galaxy A72. The images show that the A73 will not bring a major improvement in design as compared to the predecessor phone.

Reports have claimed that the Galaxy A73 5G will be the company’s first A-series phone to feature a 108-megapixel camera. It is speculated that the A73 may launch by the end of this month. There are also reports claiming that it will go official only in Q1 2022.

The Galaxy A73 CAD renders show that it will be sporting a punch-hole display on the front. The leak states that it has a 6.7-inch AMOLED display, which is integrated with an under-display fingerprint scanner. Its right edge is flanked with a volume rocker and a power key. The rear side of the phone features a protruding camera module that includes a quad-camera unit and an LED flash.

The leak reveals that the Galaxy A73 measures 163.8 x 76 x 7.6mm in dimensions. Its thickness rises to 9.3mm at the camera bump. The top edge of the phone features a microphone and a SIM card slot, whereas its bottom edge has a USB Type-C port and a speaker grille. While the A72 featured a 3.5mm audio jack, it will be unavailable on the successor model. The Galaxy A73 renders show that its appearance is almost identical to the Galaxy A73.

The 6.7-inch display of the Galaxy A73 5G is likely to support Full HD+ resolution and a high refresh rate. There is no word on the front camera of the device, but its rear camera unit is likely to feature an OIS-enabled 108-megapixel camera. It may come preinstalled with One UI 4.0 based Android 12 OS.

The Snapdragon 750G or the newer Snapdragon 778G/778G+ SoC may fuel the A73. It may ship with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The handset may draw power from a 5,000mAh battery that may support 25W fast charging. The A73 is expected to come with an IP rating for water resistance. Lastly, it is expected to arrive in colours like black and gold.
