Samsung is planning to release a handful of new Galaxy A series smartphones in the coming weeks. One of them is rumoured to be the Samsung Galaxy A91. While the South Korean tech giant hasn’t confirmed the existence of the Galaxy A91, the handset has been the subject of a number of leaks and reports lately. Some specifications of the device were leaked on the interwebs recently, which suggested that the handset will be a high-end offering. Now, the Samsung Galaxy A91’s purported renders and a 360-degree video based on CAD design have been leaked by @OnLeaks in collaboration with 91mobiles, which have revealed the design of the phone from all angles.
Samsung Galaxy A91 renders
The publication has leaked two sets of high-quality renders of the Samsung Galaxy A91. One of them shows a triple camera setup at the rear, while the other shows a quad-camera system. The tipster is not clear what camera configuration will be seen on the handset. The cameras will be placed inside a large square camera module at the top-left corner of the smartphone. There’s a rectangular cutout in the camera module, which suggests towards the presence of a Periscope lens on the smartphone.
On the front, the Samsung Galaxy A91 will have a nearly bezel-free display. The smartphone has a single hole in the middle of the top of the screen to house a selfie camera. The handset doesn’t have a fingerprint sensor on the back, which suggests that the device will have an under-display sensor. Lastly, the photos indicate that the phone will have a USB Type-C charging port and a speaker on the bottom.
Samsung Galaxy A91 specifications and features
According to the earlier reports, the Galaxy A91 will have a 6.7-inch full HD+ Super AMOLED display, and will boot Android 10 out of the box. The phone will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 processor, which will be paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of native storage. The device is said to offer a 48MP main camera at the rear and a 32MP lens on the front. A 4,500mAh battery with 45W fast charging support is said to keep the whole package running.
Samsung is expected to introduce the Galaxy A91 either by the end of December or in early January. We will bring you more details about the phone as soon as the brand officially announces anything, so stay tuned.
