Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Pro series and Galaxy Book 2 Business have been launched at the ongoing MWC 2022 in Barcelona, Spain. The former comes in a regular and a convertible variant as well as two screen sizes.
The Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Business is aimed at enterprise users and packs a host of security and productivity features. All three laptops are powered by the latest 12th generation Intel Core processors. Read on to know what the machines offer out of the box.
Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Pro series specifications and features
The Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Pro and Book 2 Pro 360 are offered in 13.3 and 15.6-inch display sizes with AMOLED panel and FHD resolution. The former is a clamshell laptop whereas the latter is a 2-in-1 convertible offering. The Pro 360 variant also comes with HDR, touch and stylus support. Both devices feature a fingerprint scanner embedded in the power button.
Under the hood, the Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Pro and Pro 360 are powered by up to 12th generation Intel Core i7 processors paired with Intel Iris Xe graphics onboard. Both machines pack up to 32GB LPDDR5 RAM and 1TB NVMe SSD storage. The 13.3 and 15.6-inch display variants of the Pro and Pro 360 models are backed by 63Wh and 68Wh battery units respectively. Both laptops come with 65W USB-C charging.
The Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Pro and Po 360 are equipped with dual stereo speakers tuned by AKG and Dolby Atmos support. They feature a 1080p FHD webcam with a dual array mic.
Connectivity-wise, both laptops come with WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.1, Thunderbolt 4 port, USB-C port, USB 3.2 port, HDMI port and a microSD card. The 15.6-inch Galaxy Book 2 Pro also supports 5G connectivity.
Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Business
The Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Business comes with a 14-inch antiglare display bearing an FHD resolution. It features stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support and a 1080p webcam. There is an IR camera and a fingerprint reader.
On the hardware front, the Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Business is powered by an Intel vPro processor with up to 12th generation Core i7. It is available in three graphics configurations, i.e., Intel UHD graphics, Intel Iris Xe, or NVIDIA GeForce MX570 A. The machine packs up to 64GB RAM and 1TB storage space.
The Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Business is backed by a 51.5Wh battery cell with support for 65W charging via a USB-C port. Software-wise, it ships with Windows 11 Pro out of the box. In terms of connectivity, the laptop features 4G LTE, WiFi-6E, USB-C port, two USB-A ports, Thunderbolt 4 port, HDMI 2.0 and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Pro, Pro 360, and Book 2 Business pricing and availability
The Samsung Galaxy Book 2 comes in Silver and Graphite colours while the Pro 360 model comes in an additional Burgundy colour. The Book 2 Business is only available in Graphite colour.
The Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Pro starts at $1,049 (~Rs 79,500) while the Pro 360 variant carries a starting price tag of $1,249 (~Rs 96,640). Both devices will go on sale from April 1st. The South Korean brand hasn’t announced the pricing and availability of the Galaxy Book 2 Business yet.
