In December last year, we reported that Samsung is working on Galaxy F62 smartphone. The device had appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking platform. The upcoming smartphone will be a mid-range offering.

Now tipster Mukul Sharma has revealed that Samsung is indeed going to launch a new F-series smartphone. The name of the device is unclear at the moment but it will join the Galaxy F41 that debuted last October. Samsung is also yet to officially confirm the Galaxy F62’s existence.

Mukul’s tweet mentions that the upcoming F-series smartphone will outperform the Snapdragon 765G processor. We expect the device to be the Galaxy F62 and come with the flagship Exynos 9825 that powered the Galaxy Note 10 series. The smartphone is tipped to debut under Rs 25,000 price segment.
The tweet also reveals #FullOnSpeedy hashtag that is said to highlight the performance of the upcoming F-series offering. According to industry sources, Samsung and Flipkart are likely to launch the hashtag campaign ahead of the smartphone’s debut.
Samsung Galaxy F62 specifications and features (expected)
The Samsung Galaxy F62 has been spotted on the brand’s India support page as well as on Geekbench with model number SM-E625F/DS. It had also appeared on the BIS certification site. This indicates that the smartphone could launch in the coming weeks.
The Geekbench listing of Galaxy F62 reveals Exynos 9825 processor powering the device. It scored 763 points and 1,952 points in single and multi-core tests. The SoC is coupled with 6GB RAM. The smartphone could ship with the latest Android 11 out of the box.
Meanwhile, the leaked images of the Galaxy F62 revealed an AMOLED display with an under-screen fingerprint scanner, a Type-C port and square-shaped camera module.
