Samsung India today expanded its budget ‘J series’ with a new 4G VoLTE-enabled phone dubbed Samsung Galaxy J1 4G. The device was initially announced as Samsung Galaxy J1 (2016) last year.
Samsung Galaxy J1 4G comes with 4.5-inch Super AMOLED display featuring 800 x 480 pixels WVGA resolution. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC7727SE processor with Mali 400 GPU. It embraces 1GB RAM and 8GB internal memory, which is expandable with microSD. The recently-launched Samsung Galaxy J series device runs Android operating system. However, the company has not mentioned the exact version of the said operating system. The Dual-SIM phone packs in a 2050mAh battery under the hood.
In terms of optics, Samsung Galaxy J1 4G houses a 5MP autofocus rear camera with LED flash and f/2.2 aperture. It is capable enough of recording 720p HD videos. Up front, one will get a 2MP front-facing camera for capturing selfies combined with f/2.2 aperture. Since the phone is compatible with voice calling over high-speed LTE connectivity, one can operate the device seamlessly on Reliance Jio network. That aside, Samsung Galaxy J1 4G follows the standard connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, and GPS.
Samsung Galaxy J1 4G comes at the price of Rs 6890 in black, white, and gold colour options.
