Samsung India has launched a new phone dubbed Galaxy J3 Pro in India, which runs Android 5.1 Lollipop. At the time when every other smartphone manufacturer is pushing hard to provide the Android Nougat update to their lineup, Samsung – the tech giant of Korea introduced a phone with Android 5.1 Lollipop. Following the trend of J-Series, Galaxy J3 Pro also features a metallic finish. The phone also comes with S bike mode which lets you access some specific functions hands-free while riding the bike. Talking about specs, it sports a 5-inch HD Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. Under the hood, a 1.5GHz quad-core Spreadtrum processor runs the show. The phone gets 2GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable up to 128GB via a MicroSD card.
For photography, the Galaxy J3 Pro features an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel selfie camera. The phone draws its power from a 2600mAh battery. For connectivity, the phone features 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, Glonass, NFC, FM radio, 3.5mm audio jack, and Micro-USB. If you weren’t disappointed much about Android 5.1 Lollipop, here’s another reason – the phone doesn’t support VoLTE.
The Galaxy J3 Pro is priced at Rs 8,490 and comes in Black, White, and Gold colour options. Samsung has also partnered with Paytm Mall where the phone will be sold exclusively starting tomorrow, i.e., 6th April.
