Samsung Galaxy J4 Core With Android Go Announced

Samsung has launched its second Android Go smartphone – the Galaxy J4 Core. The device succeeds the Galaxy J2 Core launched back in August. Let’s find out what the device has in store for us:

Technical Specifications:

The Galaxy J4 Core rocks a large 6-inch HD+ display. The display features a resolution of 1480 x 720 pixels, and an 18:9 aspect ratio screen. The J4 Core is available in three color options – Black, Blue and Gold.

Under the hood, the Galaxy J4 Core is equipped with the 1.4GHz quad-core Exynos 7570 chipset. It is coupled with 1GB RAM. The device packs 16GB internal memory expandable up to 512GB viaa  microSD card slot. The J4 Core is a part of Android Go programme which is optimised for low end devices. The device runs on the Android Oreo out of the box.

On the optics front, the J4 Core features an 8MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture assisted by LED flash. There is a 5MP front facing camera for snapping selfies.

A 3,300mAh battery is fitted inside the J4 Core which keeps it running. It has the basic connectivity options like 4G support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and Glonass.

Pricing & Availability:

The Galaxy J4 Core is listed already on Samsung’s site along with technical specifications. However, there is no official word regarding the pricing and availability. The Galaxy J2 Core was launched at Rs 6,190 and is available across offline retail stores and Samsung’s online store. We expect the J4 Core to be priced similarly.
