Two new Samsung phones with model numbers SM-J610F/DS and SM-J425F/DS have appeared on the Vietnamese edition of Samsung’s website. According to Dutch blog GalaxyClub.nl, these devices could be the Galaxy J6 Prime and Galaxy J4 Prime.
The specifications of the upcoming Galaxy J6 Prime and J4 Prime are not mentioned on their respective listings on the official website. Their listings only show that they are loaded with Android 8.1 Oreo and are powered by Snapdragon SoCs. Samsung has recently released the Galaxy J6 and Galaxy J4 smartphones in some markets including India in the recent past.
The Galaxy J6 and J4 are respectively powered by Exynos 7870 and Exynos 7570 chipsets. However, the upcoming Prime variants are expected to feature Snapdragon chipsets. It is speculated that Vietnam and Netherlands could be among the first markets to be receive the J6 Prime and J4 Prime.
The Galaxy J6 Prime and J4 Prime may arrive with better specs compared to their regular variants. The Galaxy J6 features a 5.6-inch Super AMOLED display that produces HD+ resolution of 720 x 1480 pixels. The 32 GB and 64 GB variants of the smartphone respectively feature 3 GB and 4 GB of RAM. The back panel of the phone is fitted with a single 13-megapixel rear camera and 8-megapixel front shooter. The handset is packed with a 3,000mAh battery.
In India, the 32 GB and 64 GB Galaxy J6 are respectively priced at Rs. 12,990 and Rs. 14,990. The Galaxy J4 is equipped with a 5.5-inch S-AMOLED display that supports HD+ resolution. The two variants of the smartphone include 16 GB storage + 2 GB RAM and 32 GB storage + 3 GB RAM. For photography, it features a 13-megapixel rear camera and a selfie snapper of 5-megapixel. It draws power from 3,000mAh battery. The 16 GB Galaxy J4 is priced at Rs. 9,190 whereas the 32 GB edition carries a pricing of Rs. 10,990.
